This 10 days/ 9 nights missionary safari in Kenya takes you to one of the mission projects in Nairobi whereby you will visit one of the children’s home in Nairobi. Enjoy 2 days with orphaned kids in Nairobi and Nyeri and later spice up your missionary safari in Africa with a day or 2 with a visit to one of the wildlife game viewing parks, Masai Mara and lake Nakuru national park. Spending your 10 days mission tour in a safari tented camp or standard safari lodge.
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi, we will be met and transferred to our Nairobi hotel/ guest house for your Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi Day Excursion
After breakfast, leave for excursion in Nairobi like Giraffe center, Nairobi Museum, David Shedrick and have lunch for your own back to the hotel for Diner and overnight.
Day 3: Nairobi Slum Children’s Home
Pick up from your hotel or guest and drive to children’s home in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums where you will spend most of the day with the kid’s lunch at the home before returning to hotel / guest house for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Nairobi
Pick up and drive to Kibera slums, the largest slum in Africa, you will visit different project and lean how the people in this slum leave with all the difficulties. You will later return to the hotel / guest house for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Nairobi –Nyeri
After breakfast you will drive towards Nyeri town in orphaned children’s home. Full day with the children and later proceed back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Nyeri
After breakfast depart for Childrens home again and spend the most of the day with the kid’s later afternoon back to the hotel diner and overnight at hotel returning for Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Nyeri – Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon enjoy a game drive of Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large concentration of birds, especially flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or Camp.
Day 8: Nakuru - Masai Mara
After breakfast drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Wildlife Reserve arriving in Masai mara in the time for lunch. Later in the afternoon enjoy a game drive at the reserve. It is a land of breathtaking vistas, a panorama of rolling grassland hills and groves of acacia woodland. Permanent residents of the Mara include black rhino, elephant, buffalo, topi, giraffe, and of course, the big cats: lion, cheetah and leopard. In addition, huge herds of zebra and wildebeest lead an endlessly nomadic life, crisscrossing from the Serengeti Plains of Tanzania to the Masai Mara of Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or Camp.
Day 9: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives having an option a full day game drive. On a full day game drive you carry park lunch enjoying a picnic Lunch at the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or Camp.
Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in late afternoon and transfer to the airport for a flight home.
